It all started with a short story about 2 aliens searching for a rare piece of jewelry during the Gold Rush. A complex piece I wrote at 9 years old set the foundation for my creative present & future. My name is Aaron J. Nelson, the owner of Mors Calumnia Productions. I was raised in Kingstree, South Carolina, where I went from a young athlete to a teenage lover of sports, journaling, and alternative rock music. After graduating from Manning High School in 2014, I spent 5 years at the greatest HBCU in the nation: The Illustrious Claflin University. I graduated with a B.S. in Marketing, 3 consecutive awards in our annual film festival, and the creation of my first scripted series titled “Dying Is Easy, College Is Hard” in 2017. From there, I have created a plethora of shows & films, while also excelling in photography and producing music projects as well (that’s why we used to say, "Creative? Everything).

Our company is currently based in Charleston, South Carolina, and have completed film & camera shoots in the states of Georgia, SC, NC, Florida, Virginia, & Tennesse.
